Spring may, finally, actually be here!
I’m fairly certain of this based on the long-term weather outlook and the fact that Ohio’s Cedar Point amusement park will open for another season this Saturday.
The opening weekend at the Sandusky theme park will be dedicated to showing off the new Steel Vengeance™ roller coaster, that’s been months in the planning, and promises thrills enough for any ride-lover.
It’s actually been years since the kids were young enough to think that a day with mom and dad at Cedar Point was a good idea.
And the grand kids are a bit too young, but I’m pretty certain we’ll be back there to enjoy at least some of the offerings in the not to distant future.
The news release announcing the Cedar point opening was missing info on watering holes available at the park, which are far more likely to attract my interest than a roller coaster.
That’s the way I see it.
