Over the years, the networks have made an art of finding the most illiterate & inarticulate people around to comment anytime there’s any kind of disaster.
This same skill carried over on Monday during Fox radio network coverage of the Solar Eclipse.
They found a guy who’d driven from Arkansas to Paducah, Kentucky to view the eclipse.
When asked what he thought about it, the man responded by calling it “a life changing experience.”
My first reaction was wondering if I had really heard what I had heard.
Then I wondered what kind of life he had been living in the home of the “Razorbacks” to have the eclipse make such an impact on him.
Then I just hoped he’d sober up prior to driving back home after making one of the most ridiculous comments I have heard in a long, long time.
That’s the way I see it.
