Sports fans who were paying attention Sunday evening, or this morning, got the latest example of how the national sports media folks love to bring the mighty down and look for the next big thing.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, who traded much of their team last week, were by all national accounts a team in disarray with no chance of doing anything including getting out of their own way.
Fast forward to a game yesterday in Boston, and the pundants that analize what was a very impressive Cavs win, couldn’t avoid heaping helpings of praise on LeBron James and the rest of the NBA Clevelanders.
You would have thought that another trip to the NBA Finals was just a formality.
There’s a real chance that they could indeed get back to NBA Finals, but there’s an equally good possibility that they won’t too.
As a very casual mostly uninterested pro basketball fan, I found it all quite amusing.
That’s the way I see it.
