I’m feeling kind of sorry these days for my friends who actually enjoy playing in the snow because until this week they’ve had little of the white stuff to enjoy.
Some have had to travel hundreds of miles to snowmobile in northern Michigan.
Others have just kept their winter gear in the closet while their snowmobiles sit idle in their barns and garages.
I’m the last guy you’ll hear complain that there hasn’t been enough winter weather this season.
In fact, it’s made my wait for Spring a whole lot easier.
Walking through the snow and slop (I call it snop) on my way to work Thursday morning, occasionally brushing the blowing snow off my ski mask, I kept saying sometimes out loud that it won’t be long until Spring.
I’m told that new fallen snow is one of the prettiest sights one can see.
I have no idea whether or not that’s true, but as far as I’m concerned, the little we’ve gotten this season is more than enough.
I’m hoping the groundhog got it wrong!
That’s the way I see it.
