Money Doesn’t Buy Happiness – Bob Ulm
If you’re like me, you probably heard someone say “money won’t buy happiness” when you were a child.
If you’re like me, you probably have thought at least once in your adulthood that although that might be true, you wouldn’t mind having a chance to find out for yourself.
The story below is not startling, though it is disturbing.
It appears to provide evidence that the entertainer known when he died as Prince, was the latest in a long line of people who had more money than they could spend.
But he found out it couldn’t provide him with enough happiness to avoid risking death for peace or relief from pain-
“Search Warrants Show Unprescribed Drugs Found At Prince’s Home”
“(Minneapolis, MN) — Search warrants served on the Minnesota home of late entertainer Prince confirm sizable amounts of opioids were found in several places. Carver County authorities released the search warrants on Paisley Park Monday. They said Prince was not prescribed any of the drugs that were found. Some drugs were in bottles in a suitcase labeled “Peter Bravestrong,” an alias believed used by Prince during his travels. Other prescriptions were made out to Prince’s bodyguard by the doctor who treated Prince the day before his death.”
Sounds similar to what we learned after the deaths of Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, & Marilyn Monroe just to name a few.
I’m not quite sure why some of the biggest stars of all time share a similar demise, but maybe….just maybe…it IS true that money doesn’t buy happiness!
That’s the way I see it.
