Officials at the Toledo Zoo announced this week that 21 year old female polar bear Nan has been moved to a zoo in the Chicago area in hopes that she’ll find a male polar bear suitable for mating.
The objective is not to create some must see video, but rather to build the population of the species in the U.S.
If your job was to craft music selections for such a HUGE encounter, what would you think would be appropriate?
My suggestions would include “Bear Necessities” from The Jungle Book, ACDC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long” or perhaps “The Power Of Love” from Huey Lewis And The News.
There are others that come to mind too, but I have been blessed (or victimized) by an amount of discretion that will cause me to keep them to myself.
Maybe bears don’t need music to get in the mood.
I don’t plan to get close enough to find out.
That’s the way I see it.
