I’ve got no federally funded study to back up what I think, but I’m pretty sure that the first warm days of spring do more for our attitudes than all of the medicans we can take combined.
The first 70 degree day Thursday resulted in the return of motorcycles, and mopeds, to the streets of my little town.
The lines were longer than usual at the ice cream stores, and the park near my home was busy with basketball players well into the evening.
Forget the fact that it was windy enough Thursday to blow Toto off his feet!
The sunshine and warm temperatures were good for the spirit even if all you did was clean up the winter trash from your yard.
Days like Thursday are among the reasons I still call Ohio home.
We made it through a tough winter for weather and other reasons, and I’m pleased that at least most of the next several months, the weather will be nice.
That’s the way I see it.
