You’ll probably hear a lot of conversation about it, and may read a lot of social media posts about it today too. It is the address Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will make this evening at 5:30, to be televised across the state. Despite repeated calls for mask wearing, social distancing and to avoid large gatherings of non-family members, the number of Coronavirus cases in Ohio has risen to it’s highest level since the start of the pandemic. Unlike the earlier days of the outbreak, many of the new cases are coming from areas outside our state’s big cities, areas like ours. Either because of the way the virus works, or as the result of noncompliance or a combination of the 2, what’s been tried so far isn’t working well at all in controlling the spread of Covid19. There’s wide ranging speculation about what new restrictions or cancelations might be announced by the Governor early this evening, but we’ll all just have to wait and see. That’s the way I see it.
