A Little Goes A Long Way – Bob Ulm
News detailed in the story below from our news partners at Metro Networks that I read very early this morning, may be unsettling to those who are fans of wine produced in California—
“(Undated) — California wines are showing evidence of the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan. The disaster happened seven years ago, and now French scientists say a radioactive isotope is turning up in bottles of California vino. Live Science reports that the man-made isotope is called cesium-137, but it’s not a big worry. The World Health Organization says radioactive traces found in food or beverages outside of Japan are too low to be dangerous.”
May I suggest that Ohio has some wine products that I’m told are quite tasty.
At least for now there’s no indication that they contain anything harmful, unless of course you consume too much of them.
That’s the way I see it.
