There likely won’t be any snow on the ground, but this Friday evening’s annual “Home Town Christmas” celebration will offer everything else you’d need to get into the holiday spirit.
The Delphos Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the annual celebration from 6PM until 8:30PM, promising a host of free activities and events for people of all ages on the streets of downtown Delphos.
The event will be highlighted by Santa’s arrival in a parade down North Main Street starting at 6:30PM
Hot dogs, hot chocolate, face painting, horse drawn wagon, mini-fire truck, and Christmas train rides for the kids are just some of the activities that will be offered for free.
Be sure to stop by the studios of Fun 107.1 on East Second Street to see the decorating work Rick, Barb, and Nate Burgei.
They have been working on our display for weeks in preparation for the event.
“Home Town Christmas” has become an increasingly popular way to celebrate the holidays thanks to the work of Kiwanis Club members you’ll get to meet when you take part on Friday November 30th.
That’s the way I see it.
