On our PBR in the morning show we take our obligation to entertain you and give you something to smile about during these crazy days we’re living in very seriously, but there’s also an information component of what we try to do. That’s why I’m passing along information to you about something that you may not be aware of. It’s the term “Karen” that’s showing up in memes populating Twitter Face Book and other social media platforms these days. I have no idea why who ever decided first  to pick on a perfectly good name like Karen chose to do so ,but Dictionary.com says today that ”Karen”  is a mocking slang term for  an entitled obnoxious middle-aged white woman  who asks to speak to a retail  store or restaurant manager to voice  complaints  and being a nagging often-divorced mother form Generation X.  Sounds pretty harsh to me! So if you didn’t know what the  term “Karen” refers to today now you do. If there were a slang term for that guy who always thinks he’s right and just has to convince others of it, and that guy who’s always willing to offer an opinion even when it’s not requested, ,  I’ll bet that term would be “bob.” That’s the way I see it.
