At midnight this morning, while most everyone was asleep a big change came to fun 1071.   Between now and Christmas day listeners will hear Christmas music favorites coming from our studios, on 107.1 and on line at 1071.fm,  along with the local news and sports and community service programs we are known for.   We are not the first radio station to flip to Christmas music this year, but I think you’ll find the music we play is a little more upbeat than others. We’re playing the traditional songs you’ve known since you were a child, but we’re also including several updated versions by today’s most popular artists and I think you’ll find the variety very refreshing.   I do enjoy Christmas music, and calling it Christmas Music and have since I was a kid especially leading up to the big day December 25th and we’re sure you will as well. That’s the way I see it.
