As the end of another year approaches we’ve reached the season of what I like to call “the gonna-do’s”. Lots of folks will spend time making New Years resolutions about the things they’re gonna do during 2020. Most of them will be forgotten by the time the first month of 2020 is over. Losing weight, quitting smoking, exercising more and taking more time to relax are among the most popular goals people set and usually forget pretty rapidly. For many it seems just living day-to-day is difficult enough without being bogged down by plans for self improvement. for others, habits their doctor says are bad for them, are enjoyable enough that they decide eventually that others are just going to have to accept them as they are. I’ve never been a big resolution guy but I’ll admit to having made a few that I’ve broken over the years too. My resolution for 2020 is a simple one. I’m going to try to enjoy every day as much as I can, be the best friend I can be and spoil my grand kids. That’s enough for me. That’s the way I see it.
