My bride and I took in our first in-theater movie in more than a decade on Saturday, to watch the Bohemian Rhapsody movie about the life of Queen lead singer Freddy Mercury.
Since the movie started during the 2nd half of the Buckeyes game on Saturday we pretty much had the showing to ourselves and a few dozen other folks.
I must say I enjoyed the film a lot. The folks who recreated the music of Queen which punctuated the film did a great job. I can’t speak for how closely the actor playing Freddy looked like him, but his voice was pretty spot on.
The movie gave us a good look at what was certainly a troubled life for such a talented singer who’s life was cut short because of the AIDS virus at the age of 45.
If you only take in one movie every ten years or so, this may be a good one for you to enjoy too.
That’s the way I see it.
