Moms make such a big contribution to our lives that instead of Mothers Day, we should probably have Mothers week.
Those of us lucky enough to have a good and caring mom know the influence they had on us can’t be duplicated.
There’s no debate that the changing rolls moms have faced over the past few decades has been almost unbelievable.
Moms may once have resembled Donna Reed or June Cleaver, but today they’re called on to be nurturing, loving, engineering, transporting, educating, consoling, and disciplining, all while juggling between responsibilities at home and in the work place.
How these special people find a way to balance exhausting rolls of working woman and mom is beyond me, but most of them I’ve met wouldn’t change what they do for anything else in the world.
For all moms out there…thanks for what you do and who you are.
You are irreplacable.
That’s the way I see it.
