With the number of things we can do so limited in the Coronavirus world we’re living in, you may want to take some time this weekend, if you haven’t already done so, to fill out your 2020 census questionnaire. The census conducted every 10 years is crucial in determining the amount of federal and state money that comes to a given area, Even how many people will represent us in the U.s. house, and that’s very important in fly-over states like Ohio. My wife and I filled out our census questionnaires during the first weekend of the Pandemic lock down in March. That’s how bored we were. Filling out the census will take less than 20 minutes and the government won’t acquire any information it doesn’t already have on you if you do so. Filling out the census is as simple as logging on to www.2020census.gov. If you don’t have on line access, you can call 844 330 2020. Just over 65 percent of the adults who live in Ohio have filled out their census forms so far. Hopefully that number will grow significantly in the weeks to come. That’s the way I see it.
