I spent more time than I should have over the past day trying to think about how I would write a blog about The impact the newly announced 400-page Biden Administration vaccination mandate will have on the American work force, the rising costs we’re seeing for almost everything we’re buying and the supply shortages that are impacting all of us, but I chose instead to write about something much more pleasant. Food! We’ll have opportunities to support 2 local organizations and enjoy some delicious food this weekend too. Tomorrow is the day for the annual Delphos Kiwanis Club pancake and sausage meal fund raiser offering dine-in and carry-out meals in the cafeteria at Jefferson Senior High school. If you love Sauer Kraut and Sausage as much as I do, you’ll want to head to Landeck this Sunday to pick up a carry-out meal served up by St. John The Baptist Catholic church volunteers. I am sure there are other food-themed fundraisers you can support in the area this weekend as well. Maybe enjoying some delicious food will take our minds off all of the things we could complain about these days, at least for awhile. That’s the way I see it.
