You may find results of a survey I read about this morning interesting, or as I did just a tad bit disturbing. The online marketing platform S M S Simple Texting surveyed thousands of Americans, finding that if they had to choose, 44 percent would choose time with their smart phone over time with a significant other and that 40 percent would choose smart phone access over time with their pet. We all know people who seem to be unable to cope or exist without their phones. I’ve had a smart phone since shortly after the Ihpone 4 was introduced, but I have developed an important skill. I know how to turn it off or ignore it. If a significant other, or pet has difficulty understanding why someone would choose a smart phone over time with them, they have company. I can’t figure it out either. That’s the way I see it.
