Confidence…………………..
Federal health officials seem quite confident that word of full Food And Drug Administration approval for Pfizer’s Coronavirus vaccine, announced yesterday, will result in a big uptick in the number of Americans who decide to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated. I’m not sure if that will be the case, but I think it’s clear that a growing number of Americans will have to do so to keep their jobs. In the past 24 hours the Pentagon has announced that a vaccination mandate for all U.S. service personell will be coming soon, and the Biden Administration announced that nursing home operators who don’t require their employees to get vaccinated will run the risk of losing medicare and Medicaid funding. Many of us got vaccinated prior to the full approval of any of the vaccine shots learning after we did that the shots didn’t provide the full protection from the virus that some of our nations’ health experts had promised it would if we did. It will be interesting to see how many additional Americans, with a choice, will decide to get vaccinated now. That’s the way I see it.
