Could I really be a CAT kind of guy?????
For purposes of full disclosure I am not a Cat guy. I know they give great comfort and companionship to a lot of people both young and old. An adopted cat was inseparable from our son Eric during his final months of life and mourned his passing like any good friend would. I fully appreciate their work in killing mice for rural residents particularly since I hate mice. It’s not that I object to the species, it’s just that I haven’t witnessed cats do more when they’re inside than sit around or populate a litter box. That’s why a story I read very early today was interesting to me. A feline named Sasha who went missing from her home in Portland Oregon turned up recently on the streets of Santa Fe New Mexico. Sasha’s owners were smart enough to have a microchip embedded in her and officials at a shelter were able to use it to track Sasha to her owners 1,200 miles away. Of course no one knows how Sasha made it so far away and how she stayed alive. Cats don’t talk. That’s another thing that doesn’t impress me about them. That’s the way I see it.
