As a new work day begins a lot of our friends and neighbors are preparing for another day in the work place with their faces covered because of Covid 19 pandemic related restrictions. Fortunately it’s not practical to wear a mask when you work in front of a microphone as I do, but I’ve done it enough while shopping that I have developed a real respect for people who have to do it to do their jobs. Most I’ve met seem to have adapted to the idea. Most of the people I’ve encountered wearing masks in the work place seem to be as friendly as ever, though I suspect most are hoping that it won’t be long before others can see their faces once again. A 1-day excursion we’re planning during a vacation next week to the Rock ‘n Roll hall of fame in Cleveland will be my first full-day experience wearing a mask. I may not be smiling then, but I guess no one else will ever know. That’s the way I see it.
