In these days after the 2020 presidential election a lot of people who had a stake in the arduous proceeding we’ve just lived through will be spending a lot of time trying to figure out how, by most indications, Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the race for the White House. They won’t agree, any more than Americans did on who should lead us for the next 4 years, but a couple of factors can’t be ignored. Donald Trump’s personality and his brash confrontational style that propelled him to victory in 2016, just may have been his undoing last week. Even those most happy with the accomplishments of a Donald Trump administration were quick to say they just wished Trump would tweet less, talk less and show even the slightest bit of civility toward his adversaries. His performance in the first presidential campaign debate did nothing to improve his image especially among undecided voters. Democrats were able to use Trump’s demeanor as a weapon against him and it worked. Throw in accusations of mishandling of a pandemic that’s effecting the entire world and they created a recipe for defeat for Trump who certainly will not go quietly. That’s not what Donald Trump does. That’s the way I see it..
