Just when it seemed that the cool weather clothing we got last Christmas might never make it out of the closet, chillier temperatures have finally arrived.
What many of us like to call “football weather” will likely be around for a while.
And for those of us who like the changing seasons we experience in Ohio every year, the change has come just in time.
Record setting high temperatures of the kind we experienced earlier this week won’t likely return until next spring.
Over the next few weeks, keep track of how many times you hear talk about what kind of winter we’re going to have.
Those conversations have already started with many of my friends taking note of the coats on animals and other signs we’ve been led to believe give us clues as to how cold and snowy a winter season will be for us.
We’ll do what we always do.
Deal with it, or head south with the birds.
That’s the way I see it.
