If the pandemic has proved one thing it is that Americans who are frightened will take steps and do things they otherwise wouldn’t consider doing.I doubt that I am alone when I say that I am just a little cynical about the fear some of our nations’ retailers seem to be trying to spread among consumers these days. You’ve no doubt have read or have heard the stories that supply chain and production shortages will likely mean that many of the products shoppers want to give this holiday season will be hard to fine by the traditional start of the shopping season. What’s not said but is certainly implied is that you’d better be ready to shop early and expect to pay more than you did last year. Fear is a very powerful motivator even when it’s just the fear of not being able to get the things we want to give others for Christmas. That’s the way I see it.
