I’m happy to report that the second Coronavirus vaccine shot I got over the weekend was pretty much like the first one, pretty much a non event.  My arm was a little sore yesterday but other than that I didn’t have any negative reaction at all. I suspect as the weeks go by, and the number of people eligible to get vaccinated continues to grow, we will see a significant push from health officials to get people vaccinated, including those who aren’t in the identified high risk categories.  I suspect the vaccination rate would grow dramatically  if the card  you get with your vaccine entitled you to be among the first to thumb your nose  at mask mandates in effect at restaurants, businesses and other public places. That would be a real benefit even for people who aren’t concerned about the risk of getting the virus itself. That’s the way I see it.
