This is National Doctors day! It’s hard to think of many people who’s work has been effected as significantly as doctors and the other medical professionals who assist them trying to keep us healthy over the past year. As the pandemic began to over run our country, many doctors were forced to familiarize themselves immediately with technology, having to try to diagnose issues in their patients virtually, with out face to face contact. Many had to work long hours with little rest for weeks on end at the height of the pandemic when many hospitals were filled to capacity with coronavirus patients. The strain on the delivery of medical services over the past year has been well documented but doctors and the medical professionals who help them do what they do, have done their best to help the rest of us cope with health issues and concerns we’ve faced over the past year. Doctors, and their professional assistants, deserve a special word of thanks from the rest of us on this National Doctors Day. That’s the way I see it.
