We’ve reached December 1st and it does seem to me that the year has flown by, very much unlike what we lived through last year. I’m not sure if that’s because many of us have tried as best we could to return our lives to normal getting together with family and friends and for community events, or if many of us have resigned ourselves to the fact that the Coronavirus and it’s continuing mutations is something we’re just going to have to learn to live with. During December parents and grand parents will be busy making holiday preparations. Youngsters will be driving their parents teachers and grand parents nuts anticipating visits from Santa Claus, just like they should.. Many events we’ve come to associate with the holiday season are returning after pandemic related curtailments last year. Among them the Delphos Kiwanis Club’s Home town Christmas celebration planned in Delphos this Friday night. It will be a great time to bring the kids to down town Delphos to visit with Santa and enjoy the activities that will be presented free of charge, that families can enjoy. Just like we should. That’s the way I see it.
