The news these days is filled with stories about the impact the Corona Virus is having on us, the way we live, the way we work and the way we interact with each other. We never heard the term “social distancing” until just a couple of weeks ago. There have been stories about senseless hoarding of toilet paper and other items to be sure, but increasingly we are finding stories about people who are stepping up in these unusual and difficult times, from people checking on senior neighbors to holding drives to collect items for those at risk Even providing day care for parents who didn’t know they would need it before the crisis began. Folks in this area, Ohioans and Americans have always shown a great willingness to help those in need and they’re proving it again right now. I’m confident they’ll continue to do so as we deal with the impact of the Corona Virus and hopefully some day we’ll all be better for the experience. That’s the way I see it.
