I don’t know about you, but I am sick to death of hearing about which professional athlete will or won’t stand for The National Anthem.
Though I’d much rather if the men or women we pay to play kids games would keep their political views to themselves.
I do have a suggestion for those pro athletes who are so upset with our country that they are unable to stand when the anthem is played.
Maybe consider standing for the Americans who spend their days in wheel chairs and aren’t able to do what you refuse to do.
Maybe stand in solidarity for those who’s disabilities prohibit them from getting to play the games we watch you playing.
The National Anthem lasts generally less than 2 minutes.
I don’t think it would be too demanding to consider standing up for those who can’t.
That’s the way I see it.
