There are certain smells that seem to be part of life in Delphos every year.
During lent, you can smell frying fish nearly everywhere you go and on the final Sunday in April it’s the sweet smell of barbecue chicken that permeates the atmosphere thanks to members of the Delphos Kiwanis Club.
Each year they use the sale of BBQ meals as a major fund raiser for their many community projects throughout the year and this year will be no different.
Complete meals, for carry-out only, cost just $8.50 when tickets are purchased in advance from any Kiwanis Club member and will cost only $9.00 at the event.
Serving begins this Sunday morning at 11 and it’s best to show up early because they always sell out.
I’m getting hungry just writing about it.
That’s the way I see it.
