Giving up things for lent is a tradition among some folks in the Christian world.
Alcohol, candy swearing and cigarettes are a few of the things friends have told me they’re doing without during the Lenten season over the years.
A Newtown Ohio man however has another spin on the concept.
Brewery employee Del Hall tells a Cincinnati TV station that he’s giving up everything but beer this lent.
Hall says he was inspired to take the action, giving up all other liquids and food too, by Monks from 4 centuries ago who would diet during the season on only Bock Beer.
Hall promises he’ll document his lent fast on social media if you’re interested in checking it out.
Apparently they don’t test for intoxication on the job
where Hall works.
That’s the way I see it..
