Most are DONE with these Covid19 orders……………….
In the past few weeks a growing number of people have told me that they’re “just done with” paying attention to Governor Mike Dewine’s Coronavirus update news conferences. There are complaints that the news conferences which started as the pandemic was unfolding have done little more than reinforce concerns many of have about contracting the virus. Any events that have gone on as long as the news conferences have are sure to draw there share of critics, But there is valuable information that does come out of some of them. For example word yesterday that those of us who’ve been prohibited from inside visits with our loved ones in nursing homes and assisted living facilities may be able to resume inside visits as early as October 12th. There of course are a host of covid19 related guidelines that facilities will have to comply with: there exact scope yet to be determined. We’ve all been effected by state edicts issued since March but I can’t think of a group of people who’ve been more adversely impacted than those who’ve had to live in virtual isolation in Ohio’s long term care facilities. I am sure they will be as happy to see us, as we will be to see them if and when inside visits are allowed to resume. That’s the way I see it.
