The social media back lash that’s resulted from the posting of a video showing U.S. house speaker Nancy Pilosi in a San Francisco beauty shop, with her face mask pulled down , is to be expected but shouldn’t be surprising. She has become the latest national figure who’s a member of the “do as I say, not as I do” club. To be fair, President Trump has been a member of that club for sometime now. What’s creating the most stir is that the beauty shop the house speaker was visiting was supposed to be closed, like all of the rest of the beauty related businesses in California, and that the visit happened while negotiations were supposed to be underway in Washington on a new federal Coronavirus stimulus package. If nothing else, the house speaker has learned that no matter what you’re doing, or where you’re doing it, a camera capable of posting a video is never too far away. That’s the way I see it.
