Now’s the time to break out a SWEAT………….
With Ohio’s “stay-at-home” order in it’s 3rd day and thousands of people in our area waiting for their jobs to come back or working from home, it’s possible you’re starting to get bored out of your mind, or you may be worried about the extra pressure that will be placed on your scale in the coming days because of the ease of going to the snack drawer. With gyms closed and rain in the forecast for the next several days there is a way to handle what you may feel is a desire to get up and get active and you may find it tucked away along with other forgotten items in some cupboard somewhere. It’s those old video tapes or DVD’s of exercise programs you once tried but gave up.
Whether you remember Jack LaLanne who started the TV exercise craze, are a fan of Richard Simmons who was famous for his tank tops and shorts in Sweating’ with the oldies videos, or purchased pilates, Yoga Tae Bo or Jazzercise videos, they’re right there waiting for you covered with dust just waiting for you to break them out. And if none of that fulfills your need to exercise, you might just want to follow a 2-year-old around for awhile.
