Call me weird if you wish, but all of the popular talk about “Cyber Monday” makes me laugh.
I’m intrigued by the number of people who seem to have a desire to wait to shop online so that they can be counted among the legions of “Cyber Monday” holiday gift purchasers.
I don’t have to be part of any movement or “thing” any more than I am compelled to care about the latest celebrity marriage plans or the hot new TV show.
Maybe it’s my natural push back to the over-commercialization of the holiday season.
Or just the dread of having to wait online for the throngs of “Cyber Monday” shoppers.
But if there’s something I need to buy online, I’ll wait until “Bob Tuesday” or “Bob Wednesday” to by it.
That’s the way I see it.
