The resignations announced yesterday of 2 top officials of the U.s. Food and Drug administration provide proof that not all of the people considered to be our nations’ health experts are as keen as our president is about a Corona Virus vaccine. The 2 cited concerns that a booster shot being rushed for delivery later this month hadn’t yet been given food and drug administration approval And the fact that sufficient testing hasn’t been completed to determine if the booster shot Will provide any additional protection against covid 19. Their departures won’t do much to improve the confidence level of Americans about getting a booster shot, even among people who’ve already been vaccinated. Meanwhile vaccination numbers are on the rise in Ohio with 12,000 new shots having been administered in the previous day according to Thursday’s daily report from the Ohio Department of health. It seems obvious that the push from health officials to convince Americans to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated won’t ease any time soon, even as debate continues over whether or not getting a booster shot is a good idea. That’s the way I see it.
