RESTAURANTS are OPEN for Business!! SUPPORT those who are doing it RIGHT…..
Owners of restaurants, fitness centers and other businesses determined to be non-essential during a state wide shut down early in the pandemic this past spring, are breathing a little easier, at least for now. The latest Coronavirus Pandemic order issued by Governor Mike DeWine Tuesday does not mandate a shut down. Instead, the governor has ordered a 10:00 P.M. to 5:00 a.m. curfew to take effect for 3 weeks starting this Thursday night. It’s clear there is little support in the Ohio General Assembly for a new shut down. Many of Ohio’s lawmakers will again face voters in 2,022. There is however pressure from many health leaders who want more aggressive steps to be taken to control the spread of Covid19 as case numbers and hospital admission numbers grow and pressure increases on our overall health care system. It’s becoming increasingly clear to me that the ultimate responsibility to heed the advice we’ve all heard since March about steps we can take to slow the spread of the virus is up to all of us as individuals, as we wait for the release of a vaccine that will help to bring this long pandemic nightmare to a close, hopefully very soon. That’s the way I see it.
