On PBR IN The Morning, this morning, with your help, we’re saluting the people who are or will be working to help us cope with the first of 2 winter snow-makers we expect in our area this week. These are the men and women who man road crews working to get and then keep rural roads and city streets open for the rest of us to use. They’re busy dealing with drifting caused by gusty winds in the aftermath of a snow fall that measured up to a foot in some places. Snow blowers, and truck-mounted plows have sat idle for most of the winters for the past several years, but neighbors will be using them to help other neighbors at a time when those volunteers could be staying warm and toasty in their homes. If you have a shout out for someone who’s been of special help to you, we’d like to hear about them at 419 6923963. In the mean time, they all deserve our sincere thanks for what they do. That’s the way I see it.
