I’m pretty sure there are some folks out there who are nursing sun burns, today and they are probably happy to be doing so. There’s something about the first really warm and sunny day in spring that makes you feel optimistic, even during a pandemic. That’s especially true this year after folks who wished to do so were able to worship with others on Easter Sunday morning and were able to get together with family and friends in gatherings they may have missed during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. I am becoming increasingly sure that there is a segment of the population who will never be convinced that the Coronavirus is no longer a threat to them, but for the rest of us, we’re ready to get outside and enjoy the nice weather that spring and summer brings, with our families and our friends like we used to, prior to march of 2,020. That’s the way I see it.
