The days of 2016 are dwindling down. And for many , anticipation for the “ball drop” in Times Square is growing. As a youngster I couldn’t wait to be able to stay up until midnight and spend time at my cousins house. Now I kiss my wife , wish her a Happy New Year and go to sleep. Boring maybe, but a reality as I get older. I’ve been to Times Square and do want to return. Just not on New Years Eve. I have stood by the crystal ball ,as it sat in Rockefeller Plaza, when we visited my daughter attending college at Columbia. The “ball” is truly beautiful, and heavily guarded. But again this year we’ll try to stay up,call the kids and then drift off to dream and awaken to 2017. Happy New Year!!
