A 20-point Browns win over the New York Jets on national television in the Monday Night Game Of The Week last night was the first news I heard when I woke up this morning.
Because of my early morning work requirements, I was asleep within a few minutes of kick off, and crashed for the day wondering if there was any way the Browns would atone for their dismal performance in their opening game just over a week ago.
Atone they did, even if the win came over an outmanned Jets team who’s coaches may have been looking in the stands for their next quarter back.
The Browns are now 1 and 1 on the young season and at least for a few days fans have a victory to relish.
That’s something that hasn’t happened a lot since the team returned to Cleveland 20 years ago.
That’s the way I see it.
