For purposes of full disclosure, I am pretty much boycotting the NFL this season.
But for no other real reason than my team, the hapless Cleveland Browns, are giving new meaning to the word inept.
Sundays’ loss to the Lions, after blowing a second half lead, is just the latest example of an organization which appears to me to be totally rudderless and void of any chance of being relevant any time in the near future.
Rooting for a very bad team does have its advantages though.
I’m not wasting the first minute in front of the television set, though I will admit I asked my phone to give me a score update 4 times during the game.
And I did catch the 4th quarter melt down on 93.1 The Fan while in the car.
I’m personally hoping the browns go 0 – 16 for the season.
At least they would do something right.
I’m feeling yet another front office shake up at the end of the season.
That’s the way I see it.
