In the Coronavirus pandemic world we’re living in There’s an item that used to be a staple of our existence that’s fading in to increasing obscurity. That item is “the calendar.” You Remember the calendar. It’s the thing that hangs on your wall or populates your smart phone on which you’ve posted important happening dates in the future. Things like kids sporting activities, scheduled vacation trips, holiday celebrations, other family get-togethers or concerts and events you had plans to attend. As I remember prior to March, we used to be able to plan our lives weeks or months in advance. Now, as Covid19 concerns continue, and case numbers climb, it’s starting to look like the word “canceled” will remain a part of our lives for months to come. It’s obvious that the pandemic has had a significant impact on all of our lives and uncertainty about the future plays a big part in that. It seems the only solution will be the development of a virus fighting vaccine that works, then convincing those most at risk to take it. That’s the way I see it.
