Their coach may be annoying, and their star quarterback may seem old as dirt in football terms, but love them or hate them, the New england Patriots remain the class of the NFL.
Try as all of the pundants do each season to forecast the end of the New England dynasty, the disfunctionality in the locker room, and the age and deminishing skills of Tom Brady, the Patriots just continue to do what they do best.
That’s win big games on the biggest post-season stage.
Sunday was no different than a dozen other Sundays in recent years.
The patriots were said to be headed down a spiral that would spell the end of a dynasty, but they won and did so in extremely convincing fashion yet again.
You may wish it weren’t so, but it’s hard to imagine anything but a Patriots return to yet another Super Bowl.
That’s the way I see it.
