Tiger Woods is making news again, and it’s not the kind I’m sure he would prefer.
His arrest in Florida early Monday morning on a DUI charge, quickly captured on Social Media, was followed almost as swiftly by a statement from the once seemingly unstoppable golfer that he caught the attention of an arresting officer because of an unexpected reaction to prescribed drugs.
If the arrest had happened during the day time, such an explanation might be a little more believable.
It doesn’t help that his past personal exploits off the course have generated almost as much attention as his extraordinary golfing career.
As americans, we love to elevate our sports heroes to extreme heights, but we seem to enjoy just as much if not more, watching them get knocked down.
You’d think that someone with Tigers’ wealth might have called a cab or a friend to give him a ride if he were unable to drive.
But maybe it was just a case of Tiger Being Tiger.
That’s the way I see it.
