I had a very enjoyable time last night hanging out with other Cleveland fans at a Tribe Caravan stop sponsored by our sister station 93.1 The Fan at Westgate Entertainment Center in Lima.
Snow may have been falling outside, and the pro football season may have just ended, but there’s nothing like hearing about, and talking about baseball that makes me sure that spring will arrive and I’ll soon be exposing society to the sight of my old legs in shorts.
We Indians fans have lived with a lot of bad seasons, and some heart-breaking post season losses, but we remain devoted to our team as if it’s a genetic disorder we can’t escape.
I keep saying that there will be a World Series Championship banner flying over Progressive Field in Cleveland sometime during my life time, but I do hope they hurry up.
That’s the way I see it.
