To steal a line from an anti-drunk driving campaign spot you may have heard “look outside. Know what you don’t see?” What you don’t see outside today is snow! You won’t have to scrape your windows or endure sub-zero wind chills. You didn’t find slippery spots on your way to work. Well in to a month known for some of the worst weather of the winter season there’s no nasty weather in the near-term forecasts and it looks like predictions that this might be a milder than normal winter seem to be holding up so far. I don’t own a snowmobile and I’m not a fan of scraping icicles off my face at the end of my mile-long walk to work but I know there are folks out there who wish they’d get to play with their winter toys or go ice fishing. I’m just not one of them. I’ll leave it to the experts, or the so-called experts to determine if these mild weather conditions are the result of normal weather patterns or global warming, but whatever the reason I’ll take it. Not to worry though. I am sure there’s plenty of nasty winter weather ahead. After all we live in Ohio. We do need something to complain about. That’s the way I see it.
