Who made the most sense last night??????????
Reaction you hear from people who watched last nights first 2,020 Presidential campaign debate today may depend on whether the person asked is a supporter of President Trump or of Joe Biden. The debate moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News learned as I suspect most people who’ve ever worked for or with President Trump already knew, that it is impossible to keep the president from saying what he wants to say, when he wants to say it. Joe Biden seemed to do his best to try to prove that he is mentally EQUIPPED to be president and to try to shed the “sleepy joe” nick name his opponents have given him. Some of the folks who tuned in to last nights show-down in Cleveland may have found the back-and-forth between the white house combatants spirited. Others no doubt found it extremely unprofessional. Supporters of each candidate will be watching new debate reaction polling data very closely to be sure, but it will be voters, not debates or polling that will determine who will occupy the white house in January and Americans will start to make that decision when early voting begins less than a week from today. That’s the way I see it.
