Will events be back to NORMAL?What’s your opinion?
There is still a lot of uncertainty about the future of efforts to deal with the Coronavirus Pandemic, and questions as to when the pandemic may be officially declared under control, but an expansion of eligibility for Ohioans to get vaccinated against Covid19 effective today, could go a long way to bringing the day closer when things will return to normal. As of today, anyone in Ohio over the age of 16 who wants to get vaccinated can do so. 16 and 17 year old’s will be offered only the Pfizer vaccine and will need parental consent. Those 18 years old and older can choose any of the 3 vaccines available to them at the vaccination site they choose. There are still some glitches in the statewide vaccine scheduling website, but in recent days I’ve heard fewer and fewer reports from people who’ve found it challenging to get a vaccine scheduled. I am sensing a real optimism among people who say community events they had planned canceled last year that their events will be able to return with normal capacity during 2,021. Put me on the list of people who certainly hopes that is the case. That’s the way I see it.
