Once again this morning I arrived at work to find that Republicans in the U.S. Senate had been unable to pass legislation making changes in Obama Care.
Several thoughts to me seem fairly obvious.
Democrats in the Senate are showing the same kind of unity that Republicans did during the period of time their votes to repeal and replace Obama care didn’t matter because President Obama was going to veto their legislation.
Nearly everyone we’re paying to represent us in Washington admits there are changes that need to be made in health coverage in our country.
But in typical congressional fashion, they’re not able to come to an agreement to do anything about it.
I’ll not be the first to suggest that the best way to get congress to act to give us health care that’s really affordable is to mandate that members of congress must have to be covered by any plan they stick us with having to accept.
Chances of that happening are about as good as me getting my sight back any time soon.
That’s the way I see it.
